Epiphania Maag is more than an art magazine—it is a living, breathing support network for queer feminist artists working at the intersection of activism, resistance, and radical imagination. We center women, trans, and non-binary human rights defenders in the arts by providing resources, visibility, and unwavering community care, particularly during the most precarious phases of early artistic life.
Our mission is to build resilience through collective expression, to challenge systemic erasure, and to amplify the voices of those creating in defiance of dominant narratives. We believe that art is not just aesthetic—it is political, restorative, and revolutionary.
At the core of our ecosystem lies the EPIPHANIA VISUALS Gallery, a dynamic platform dedicated to dismantling gatekeeping in the art scenario Bangladesh and beyond .
Through this studio, we:
• Provide media production, promotional tools, and curatorial support for queer creators
• Document and expose exclusionary practices in galleries, grant systems, and academia
• Foster interregional solidarity across borders, cultures, and movements
• Host healing-centered residencies, mentorship circles, and art-activism lab
What We’re Building Together
We are currently mobilizing a $100,000 fundraising campaign to sustain and expand the following initiatives:
• The Epiphania Maag – an independent art news and storytelling platform centering queer and feminist perspectives across Asia and the Pacific
• The Queer South Asia Curatorship – a rotating collective spotlighting underrepresented artists across the Global South
• Radical Curatorial Education Programs – free community-based learning spaces for queer youth and early-career artists
• Advocacy & Safety Work – urgent response support for queer artists under threat due to state violence, censorship, or displacement
