আমি কোনো দিন চাইনি,
হাতের রেখা বদলে দিক কেউ,
চাইনি ঠোঁটের উত্তাপ ছিঁড়ে ফেলুক নির্জনতার মৌনতা।

আমি এসেছি নিজের শরীরের বালুকাবেলায়—
এখানে শরীর মানে শুধু একটি জৈবিক আবরণ,
না কোনো প্রেম, না কোনো প্রতিশ্রুতি।

ভালোবাসা?
ওটা কারও কাছে হেঁটে আসা ভোরের ভুল নাম।
আমার কাছে —
একটা শুষ্ক বাস্তবতা,
একটা কল্পনাহীন পাথর।

আমি কারও চোখে ডুবে যাইনি,
কারও হাসিতে তাপ খুঁজিনি,
কারও শরীরে শেকড় গাঁথিনি।

আমার হৃদয় —
একটা শীতল নির্জন পাথরখণ্ড,
যেখানে অনাকর্ষণের অলিখিত গান বাজে সারারাত।

নিরাবেগ, শূন্যাভ, উদাসীনতা —
এসবই আমার ভাষা;
কোনো দাবিহীন সহচরতার মতো।

আমার ছিল না রমন্যাস ,
আমি আকর্ষিত হইনি,
আমি শুধু থেকেছি —
একটা কুয়াশায় মোড়ানো সন্ধ্যার মতো,
 শূন্যাভ নির্লিপ্ত , অপার্থিব।

কেউ ফুলের মালা দেয়নি আমার গলায়,
কেউ ডাকেনি নাম ধরে,
আমি এসেছি নিঃশব্দে, যাবোও নিঃশব্দে—
মাঝখানে শুধু ক’টি শুষ্ক ধুলো, ক’টি ঠাণ্ডা দীর্ঘশ্বাস।
